Xiamoi launched in August its first flagship smartphone in China made OLED display and dual cameras, the only issue was the phone only launched in China. However, among recent rumors suggest that the company is focusing on its extended and more powerful Redmi Note Pro 2.

@Kjuma is the reported leakster who has been gradually building up his reputation for posting genuine leaks and snapshots that reveal tons of information on many up and coming devices.

This time Xiamoi ditched the dual camera system on their phone all together and only added a single camera on the rear side which is a 12-mega pixel Sony IMX 362, 1/2.55 inch sensor, 1.4µm pixel and dual auto focus camera. It also appears that the phone will come with a metal finish on the back of the device.

The Redmi Pro 2 will be launched with a new Snapdragon 660 processor which is the newer version of other 653 and 652 as the mid-range chip for 2017. The battery has also increased in size dramatically bringing it up to 4,500 mAh and the display size has been increased to 5.5 inches.

The Redmi Pro 2 will also be available in two storage variants, the first being a 4GB RAM with 64GB of built-in storage prices at $232 while the second variant will be 6GB of RAM with 128GB of internal storage.

It’s important to note that the prices are not concrete and are likely to increase as more information is publicly stated.
