Logitech is one of the oldest peripheral based companies in the tech industry and it was one of the first to get into the gaming peripheral scene.  One of the unique features that the company had added in some of its first keyboards was their own mini LCD that would show important gaming features to the users.

This was a nice addition that helped propel the company into the lead in the peripheral market. However, modern-day keyboards have dropped the LCD but that doesn’t mean there isn’t a solid alternative.

While built-in LCDs have been removed the keyboard integrates with a mobile app on your mobile device that can act as a screen and it has a dock for the phone which can then show unique information based on the game that you are running. Keep in mind that you will need to download the Logitech Gaming Software (which also acts as drivers for your other devices and allows you to control the lighting of the keyboard, mouse, and headset).

In addition, the Logitech G910 Orion Spark keyboard has integrated several new features in terms of design and functionality. The mechanical keys are using new and better anti-ghosting technology. The biggest difference though with the keys is that it has a faceted cap which basically means that the shape of the keys and the textures of them have been changed. In addition the WASD keys (which is the most common key combination gamers use to move their characters, if you’re using the arrow keys you’re doing it wrong and missing out on key binds).

In addition, the RGB lighting is at least on par with that of the Razer Chroma series which while popular is not much better than that of the Logitech G910 Orion Spark in terms of lighting capabilities they are almost identical in that sense.

Below is a picture illustrating the specifications of the Keyboard.

In conclusion, the overall quality and feel for the Keyboard goes without contest, but the higher price tag and the overall lack of an integrated LCD makes it feel like you aren’t getting the most bang for your buck but that is not to discourage anyone as this Keyboard is nothing short of amazing and is my favorite keyboard.
